IP-Based Satellite Newsgathering Solutions
Livewire Digital Ltd is a leading provider of IP-based satellite newsgathering solutions. Livewire’s M-Link product range includes solutions for the delivery of live and store & forward video. Compression and delivery of SD and HD video over satellite is offered and products are available for both Windows® and Mac OS® X platforms.

M-Link features include: optimised HTTP Transfer Protocols; native BGAN support, a simple and intuitive user interface; full call control with automatic call setup, monitoring and clearing and automatic retry and append in the event of a call failure.

Commercial Software
Livewire has also been involved in many large research and development software projects for the satellite industry. Examples include involvement with development of the Inmarsat BGAN service; from type approval systems to implementation. More recently have been working with a consortium to develop commercial IP multicast services for The European Space Agency.
