SilverBlade - Key Features

  • Network Bonding
  • Network Acceleration
  • Low latency live streaming
  • Light weight, Cost effective solution
  • Plug & Play operation
  • Simple deployment models

Live Feeds

The latest generation of broadcast cameras have built in encoders; combined with SilverBlade they offer a highly cost effective live broadcast solution.

RazorLink Technology is a networking protocol, which works with any camera or encoder that supports IP connectivity.  Unlike the majority of bonded video solutions, the sophisticated RazorLink protocol does not rely on basic load balancing or FEC techniques. More bandwidth is available for video transmission resulting in higher quality video.

Store & Forward

RazorLink can accelerate the performance of the cameras built in FTP client by overcoming the limitations of TCP in networks with high latency and packet loss.  The bonding feature provides additional bandwidth and resilience providing faster more reliable delivery of large video files.

SilverBlade Hardware

SilverBlade is battery powered and presents bonded services through Ethernet and / or Wi-Fi.

The unit is supplied with 4 Huawei 4G capable modems. In addition, the auxiliary USB port can be used to bond additional Wi-Fi or Ethernet devices.

Network Security

RazorLink Technology can offer a single firewall policy replacing complex application specific requirements.  RazorLink can encrypt application data whilst maintaining maximum performance.

SilverBlade Integration

SilverBlade requires RazorLink receiver software to be running as part of an organisation’s infrastructure. This can be on a dedicated server or co-located with each receive end point, distributing load and single points of failure.

The RazorLink receiver software is available for Windows, OSX and Linux.
